Knowledge is the key to providing safe and wholesome massage honoring the physical, emotional and energetic body.
YOU can make a difference in your client’s journey back to health.

This class is focused on Breast Cancer but will provide you with tools to work other oncology patients.

 

This workshop will cover: 

  • Facts about breast cancer; Risks, symptoms, pathology, and diagnosis

  • Facts about conventional & alternative treatments

  • Hands-on techniques, emphasis on post-surgery techniques, safety rules, and contraindications

  • Emotional aspects of dealing with breast cancer, and how to support your client through treatment

  • Guided visualizations and meditation

  • Virtual panel discussion with Breast Cancer survivors

  • Case study and mock hands-on clinic and student exchange 

 (Due to Covid the panel and hands-on clinic have been modified)

Tuition: $550 +$15 processing fee*

Early Bird: $525 +$15 processing fee* (up to 30 days in advance)

Super Early Bird: Sign up 60 days prior to the workshop:  $500 Processing fee is waived

This workshop is open to graduates of an approved massage therapy school of 500 hours or more
